Yes we do offer long distance moves across the midlands and nationwide.
We ask for a 25% deposit on all chain moves. This will be deducted from the final price of the job. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require at least 48 hours notice before the job date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the job will result in the deposit being non-refundable. This is to cover time allocated, scheduling, and potential lost bookings.
To confirm your booking, we will need:
- Pick up/drop off addresses
- A contact phone number
- A comprehensive inventory and job description
If you want to reserve the date, we ask for a 25% deposit. This will be deducted from the final price of the job. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require at least 48 hours notice before the job date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the job will result in the deposit being non-refundable. This is to cover time allocated, scheduling, and potential lost bookings.
We can also offer a provisional booking with no deposit, but this won’t guarantee the date until you’ve confirmed.
Often we can gather all the details we need over the phone, but we do offer free site visits where necessary. We strongly recommend this service for larger moves, and it’s essential when moving specialist items.
This can be arranged on occasion, but typically this isn’t a service we offer.
For speed and efficiency, we prefer for this to be done before arrival. However, if you let us know in advance, we can help dismantle furniture. This service will be incorporated into the quote.
While your presence during the move is not required, we recommend it to ensure a smooth and efficient process. If you're unable to be present, you can make arrangements for a trusted delegate to oversee the move on your behalf.
1. If you have any children or pets, we advise keeping them out of the way during the move. This is for their own safety as our team may be carrying large and heavy items.
2. If you have carpets that you would like to protect, this will be up to you to cover them. Our team can’t wear shoe covers when lifting heavy items, as they can become a slip hazard on carpets.
3. Dismantle your own furniture in advance and pack all of your small items up in time for your move, ensuring optimum speed and efficiency.
